The car cruise at Panera’s went on tonight in New Milford. There was
a nice turnout including a handful of ODF’s guys. John Shimer dusted off
the SP VII and brought it with “MR. SPEED” to the show. There were actually
people looking for Billy in the car. 😮 Don Kauer, Tommy Seagriff,Joe Scaccia
and Mike Leroux also attended the show….

NICE find Pat! Just like V Bob said, either Cy V. or George Daon would appreciate that photo! Has anybody seen or heard about George? He used to be at the Dover Reunion with his red ‘chopped’ 33 Willys coupe,when it was held at Marcus’s Dairy! Cy too,kinda disappeared also? In case you didn’t know,Cy has and restored Kevin Dunn’s and George Daon’s yellow Willys pickup.Last I know it’s primed,and has a shorter bed.

Every so often I bring up Leroy Capels, who ran the ‘snack-shack’ in the pits at Dover.He was always a joker,and fun to talk to. Last I know he was retired from the Wingdale Super Market,and in poor health.Has any of the ODF members that live in that area, like Lisa,or Richie Head ever get to see,or talk to him,to see how he’s doing? Would have been nice for him to made it to Big Al’s for the 25th.

Yeah, its a hemi, yeah its 1of 50 yeah its 1 of 3 for some reason!
Mike purchased the dart in 1988 . I just had to ask him if he wanted to do some hole shot drag racing after the show!!!
