I found an old picture of my car in the family album taken around 1966. Kurtzman did the striping and the headers. He is still active with a shop in Norwalk, Ct.

Guns blazing: The start of a new season gave Steve Torrence the demeanor of a kid on Christmas morning. The Texas native had plenty to be excited about with tuning guru Alan Johnson consulting his already-solid team that is led by crew chief Richard Hogan and features three crewmembers who have also called tuning shots on a Top Fuel dragster (assistant crew chief Bobby Lagana Jr., Dom Lagana, and Justin Crosslin).
