Hey Guys, I spent Friday at Maple Grove for the Dutch Classic. Went down there with
V-Bob’s and my LONG time friend Carl “Bootie” Booth. It was in the 50’s and the wind was
gusting around 30 mph. A lot of beautiful cars there. The HEMI cars were there for the
HEMI CHALLENGE. As of Friday, David Barton was low qualifier with a 8.31 and Charlie
Wescott Jr .next with 8.34. AWESOME !!! I also ran into our good friend Billy Masiello
(Masracing) in the staging lanes. It just wasn’t his day. On his second qualifying run he
broke the pinion gear and that fessed up the a lot of stuff. He was breaking down the
car to see just how bad the damage was. You got to love him ! He just shrugs his
shoulders and smiles and says, “We’ll see what happens” ! “High five to you Billy” !!
I had a great time, wish I could have stayed longer.

Ok …Back to Home Base…spent weekend in Myrtle Beach,entertaining Son Josh for his birthday. great time of year to go …Ocean temp match’s Air Temp -72-75 and no massive traffic. Didn’t get a Spam or Hacker attacks on site…Frank kept V-Bob under control and we’re all still in one piece. But Maso really has to do his Homework on the Black Arrow.

Went up to the Valley today to use up a credit I had, it was cold and crowded with imports. Don’t bother going to the track when these things are running unless you have one. Got only one run in 11.36 @107. will be putting it away for the winter now.
